Other notable participants were James Olley, Founding Partner of Montfort, a leading strategist in complex communications, and Anthony Goodwin, Founder of Antal International, a global executive search firm.
The official IT Park and ecosystem representatives included Gufron Atto, Founder & CEO of AttoLabs AG, a company which is an IT Park success story; Vera Ignatyeva, Customer Success Director, EMEA at Coursera, whose presentation highlighted Uzbekistan’s rapid growth in Coursera learners; and IT Park representatives Fayzulla Ulmasov, Chief Manager of IT Services Export Development, and Sarvar Vokhidov, Head of EU & UK Markets. Also in attendance was Deputy Director of IT Park Ventures, Dalerkhon Nodirov, focusing on supporting startups with global market potential.
In addition to the conference, the visit generated significant business momentum, with a memorandum of cooperation signed between IT Park Uzbekistan and Academia Park London Ltd to develop Uzbek startups, attract global investors, and exchange expertise. An investment agreement was also signed with Datox, an overseas startup founded by Uzbek nationals. Following the success of the conference, several companies confirmed their intent to visit Uzbekistan and expressed strong interest in expanding their operations, including establishing offices, R&D centers, and new IT teams, acknowledging the country’s potential.
